Service Auction Ideas

We had a group of teachers cook/serve/cleanup brunch for 10 - 12 people. That went really well. Our principal also offered a Day on the Vineyard (tour, ferry tickets, picnic lunch on the beach) she lives there. Our assistant principal offered 3 hrs. of babysitting. Our music teacher offered 3 piano lessons. We also had teachers offer tutoring. We had parents donate bartending services, housecleaning, private pilates lessons, snow plowing, landscape design GC, septic cleaning, etc. We received over half of our donations from the families within our school. It seemed like we had something for everyone.

How about front row seats at school concerts , plays or musicals. Babysitting in your home by a teacher.

Hello. We have a Service Auction every two years and ask parents and teachers to donate services and merchandise. We do a lot of gift baskets and such, but also service things like a contractor will donate his services, or someone who cooks will provide a dinner party...I'm looking for creative ideas for school-related things. Our principal always does Principal for a Day (the winner's child gets to spend the day as "principal"), or another teacher donates a pizza lunch out by the pond for a group of kids. One parent suggested auctioning off a parking space, so a parent would always have a place to park close to school (we don't have much parking). Does anyone have any other creative ideas like this? This is our major fundraiser -- two years ago we raised over $30,000! -- and we want to be successful again, but we're running out of ideas. Thanks for any ideas.
