Scrip Advantage has filed for a re-organizational bankruptcy. At this point the best way to get any of the money they owe is to show up at the bankruptcy hearing and challenge tham as creditor. We have a parent at our school that is helping with this and as I learn more information I will post here.
If they are granted a reorg., it will be the third time these people in this compnay have attempeted a scrip company.
You all know you have been lied to, but it definately borders on fraud when they take your money for a retailer, tell you it will be in next week and the truth is they have not ordered from that retailer in two months and did not have an order pending. In fact, they could only buy from that retailer by wiring the money into the retailers bank account. This retailer has not accepted checks for payment from SA for months! (infor gleemed directly from retailer HQ where I resorted to buying scrip directly.
