Our theme for "March is Reading Month" is "Dive into Reading." We are going to use anything and everything dealing with under the sea such as sunken treasures, Sponge Bob, fish, etc. We are at a loss as to what to do for our kids when they reached their goals of so many minutes read during that month. Last year we made a banana split for every student because our theme was Going Bananas over Reading. Any ideas that would tie into our Dive into Reading theme would be appreciated. We do a kick off assembly too, so if you have any ideas for that, bring them on!! Thank you.
