Positive Experience

ScottMom - I'm glad to hear that Kathryn Beich went well for you. We had a very different experience this past year because of the representative. The rep makes all the difference! Although our rep promised certain incentives, he did not follow through on them. He also included a magazine subscription insert in each of the packets even though we were very clear that we did not want it. Unfortunately, the packets went home before we had a chance to take out the magazine stuff.

Although the product was good and delivery went really well, we are not using them again because of the negative experience with the rep.

I would just like to let all of you know of the positive experiences our group has had working with Kathryn Beich Fundraising. We have worked with this group for at least 4 years with good results but recently got a new rep and she has made the good great. Today I attended a luncheon they held, you know the ones where they try to get your group to sign, and I'm used to getting tons of pressure and people following me out the door trying to get my signature. This was totally different, very laid back. They also offered some very nice sign up bonuses not only for our group, but the school and the teachers. I know a lot of you pick groups because of certain incentives so I'll tell you, this group doesn't offer the most outragous but they offer things that will truely be useful to your school as well as things that help lots of groups meet their goals. Besides they have numerous types of sales to fit any needs and they are the most organized group I have worked with in the last 5 years. I am not getting paid by them, I just wanted to share my awesome experience in hopes that it might help someone else have a good fundraiser too.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
