Hi, I was wondering if you could explain a little more in depth about the grants you have been applying for? I live in concord nh and we have a Lowes soon to be opening. Is this grant something that any PTO can apply for? Also could you give me the info. for Verizon and the dollar discount stores grants?
We are a "new PTO board" and any info. you have would be greatly appreciated!

I am sorry to here about your lowe's grant. Keep trying and you will succeed. I do have a question about your Verizon Foundation grant. If I may?.....

After applying in August, we just received notification that we did not receive a grant from them but to reapply by 2/15/07 which we will do again. Our biggests success has been through our local Lion's Club and the Verizon Foundation. We did receive from these groups $7000! So, keep trying and never give up. Another one to try if you are in a small town like me is Dollar General who has a deadline I think in March.
