Instead of saying we are holding a raffle or drawing you could word it to say something like "we are offering you the chance to win several different prizes/baskets, etc. by purchasing a ticket....." when you send out your newsletter or within your program. For those of you that have done "raffles" before what have you called them other than raffles. I know it can't be called a raffle because of permit issues but i'm not real sure how to word it. Any ideas??
