What is the checks and balances system as far as folks who use their certificate from the school to do their taxes? For example, how do we know that the 10 people that had their taxes done by H&R Block that we will receive the $200 for those people? I was approached by someone last week about a similar program by Jackson Hewitt but I'm a little hesitant because there's no way to keep track of who actually has their taxes done by a professional and that the school actually receives that money.
Hi, I am a H&R Block Tax Profesional and a mother of 4. H&R Block has a program for NonProfit oranization like your schools to earn money. Every time a new client prepar their taxes with us your school get $20 and the client $10. I do not know if any of you are familiar with H&R Block send a friend program, but the nonprofit program works the same. You will need to register and H&R Block will send you the flyers you need to distribute to the families. If you need information you can call your local H&R Block office and ask to talk to the District Manager.
