We have a dessert auction. This was our second year. The cheesecakes all went for over $100. Now that people have caught on, they come to me asking if they can make something. This includes ladies, men and youth. I type up a scrumptious description of each one, and we have a "Vanna White" walk around and show them as they are bidded off at our event. We also have a professional auctioneer come in. He donates his time for the cause. I love this idea. I don't have to solicit businesses, and it really saves my stress level.
