I've used Eventbrite for free events, and it's worked great for that (and is free). I'm sure that they have a way to be set up for fee based events, but I haven't used it and don't know how much it costs for that, but it at least gives you something to look into.
For other things where we collect money, we use Pay4SchoolStuff.com, but there's a one time set up fee, an annual administrative fee, and then they take a percentage of your sales. If you used them for everything for which you collect money (like spiritwear sales, afterschool programs, etc.) it might be worth looking in to, but I can't recommend it for one event.
Another school I'm with does everything through PayPal, so there's just the percentage of sales (which comes out a little under 4%), but they have someone who is very computer savvy and was able to set up all the programming. I think it was a bit more complex than your average parent would be able to handle.
We hold an annual golf tournament and dinner. Our registration normally consists of flyers that our participants fill out and turn in. I would like to do some sort of online registration this year. What sites do you guys use for online registration for some of your fundraisers? How much doe the site cost?
