Our school held our 1st annual 5K Run/Walk last spring. It was a huge success! There's not a lot of costs that go into it aside from t-shirts, if you choose to make them. We went to local businesses and got sponsorships to help cover that cost. If you want more information, let me know. We are planning one again for the spring. The best advice to make it a success to the publicize, publicize, publicize.

I really want to do a 5k run/walk for a funraising event for our school and I was wondering if anyone had done this and what type of success they have had with it. Also, do you have any info you would be willing to share?
