World's Finest chocolate fundraiser

15 years 3 months ago #148823 by Debbieomi
I'm sorry you had these issues with your fundraiser.
We were very lucky with ours. We had an outstanding rep who we've dealt with on countless other fundraisers for years. We did a pre-sale sale. Parents signed up ahead of time to sell cases of 50 bars for $1 and we made $25. We ordered 125 cases, the rep threw in 4 free cases to cover shipping plus our only prize. Each case sold earned a ticket in a drawing for a crisp, new $100 bill. I had next to no chocolate turned back in and was able to pass it along to hot selling families quickly.
I was super pleased that with very little work on my part, we made over $3000!

QSP no longer warehouses chocolate - it all comes directly from World's Finest Chocolate. Any issues would be with WFC. We have had a number of issues with WFC's ability to deliver on what has been ordered.

I'm sorry you had so many issues. It is important for you to note that World's Finest Chocolate is not QSP! For years, QSP was the only authorized seller of WFC, but that arrangement ended a year ago. Since then many other sales representatives have picked up the brand and are successfully representing it without problems. It seems as if you were dealing with QSP and one of their representatives, as QSP is owned by Time Magazine, and it makes sense that they were pushing their own products. I'm afraid you simply had a bad overall experience beginning with their rep and continuing on with their customer service and operations departments. QSP tends to house chocolate in their own facilities, so WFC probably had nothing to do with your experience. I urge you to contact WFC directly at 1-888-821-8452 and share your experience with them.

I am not sure if anyone else has had a problem with this company but my school has just completed a fundraiser with World's Finest Chocolate (QSP) and it was HORRIBLE! I cannot even stress enough the problems we have had with this company and the middle man we had to work with. It started off bad and that should have been our first clue but like everyone else we were trying to raise alittle money for our school....the guy came to our PTO meeting a couple months in advance and gave this GREAT speech about this program, gave our free samples and handed out flyers for our members to read....then once I handed everything over to our fundraising coordinator (I am the PTO president) he started to change things on her as far as what we were going to sell....then he didnt mention a single word about MAGAZINES....he just dropped off a huge box of packets he wanted us to hand out to the kids to sell magazines (we signed up to sell chocolate only!). After that it all went down hill from there....orders were wrong, shipments were lost, shipments were late, etc etc etc....we had SEVERAL angry parents calling us at the school due to orders being wrong or missing items due to this company....
I would NEVER recommend ANY school or business deal with World's Finest Chocolate!! I would like to know if anyone else has had this kind of problem with this company??
