Family Movie Night

We are about to hold our second annual "Movie Night Under The Stars". What a HUGE success it is. We actually charge admission. A family four pack is $20. We have "concessions" for sale of all donated items like Hot Dogs from our locale supermarket. Hamburgers donated from an airline vendor. Popcorn, cotton candy, boxed candy, nachos, soda and water all donated from a lot of leg work. The movie company we use does all the licensing and trademark rights. We are able to choose a movie that is not currently out on dvd.

I have been giving some thoughts to having a Family Movie Night as well. Are there any steps that need to be taken to get permission to show a movie?

Our school is planning a movie night first week in Dec. I would love to hear from those that have done this before.
We have 445 students but do not think all will attend given this is the first one and entering the holiday season.
Free admision with a can good, for sale: popcorn, juice & cookies. We are also going to have grab bags for sale--4 lucky kids win a Webkinz if their bag has a star in it...
