Im new to message board and look forward to sharing ideas with all of you.
I have been the PTO president and working on my 2nd year. We explored the movie nights last year. I asked the PTO members to help me with a Staduim Cup fundraiser. Whta is nice is that the kids were not involved at all. We went out to small business and asked for $40 donations. We had their names printed on our cups along with our logo. We purchased 500 cups. We sell th ecups at our Movie Nights for $1.00. After they purchase the cup all popcorn is free. And they are able to use the cups for more upcoming movie nights. We had 20 sponsors for the cups. In total we made $1300.00.
I thought this was a great idea due to the fact that the kids did not have to sell anything..
