Our school is interested in having a sock fundraiser, any thoughts or experience?

new and unique fundraiser that we just started last fall is The Sock Fundraising Company: Fundraising, Fashion, Athletic, Novelty Socks . And yes, they sell socks!
They are high quality and sold like hotcakes. Plus we get quarterly profit checks for an entire year for anyone who purchases online through our account.
They make their own socks, so it takes less than a week to receive the orders.

Our Middle School is holding a sock fundraiser for the first time this fall. We just ordered the socks this week, through Mr. Sock (I think the website is School & Club sock fundraiser: Mr Sock - not sure, though). Packs of 3 socks, emroidered with our school name, sell for $10 and our cost is $5. They sent us samples of the socks and they are high quality, cotton socks. I love the idea of a sock hop to kick off the sale! We also chose this fundraiser because it's something that everyone needs and something different. Good luck!

We met with The sock fundraising company in Columbus and it sounds like a nice alternative and a practical item to sell. We earn 40% profit and the socks seem to be high quality. At least it will be something people need. Just would like to know if anyone has tried it before and did it do well? Thought we would kickoff with a sockhop to get everyone excited. Parents are tired of the same thing cookies, wrap paper etc.
