I had already recd a reply to my email by the time you posted. Here is an exerpt of the email I recd:

"Information has not yet been sent - you didn't miss anything. We will be sending an email notification regarding your selection as a grant recipient this week followed by the award packet. All the information will be in the email.
Thank you for your patience."

I guess we can hold the thanks, becuase I misspoke.

We do send out a preliminary email, but it's only to folks from whom we need additional information/verification. There's a good chunk of additional schools which are still on track but haven't heard from us yet (because their apps. appear all set).

So my above note was off by a bit.

The plan is, as scheduled, to have the spring cycle email notifications to go out by the end of this week. (Of course, that could be delayed if my above note results in hundreds of concerned applicants flooding our staffers with emails -- so please be patient for just a couple more days )

I'm hoping you can help me out. On friday, May 9th I received a phone call (as did the principal of our school) from our local Lowes asking us about the Toolbox for Education Grant that we had won. I have not received any emails notifying us that we've won. I have called the Lowes customer service number and did finally talk to someone that knew about the grant. He looked up something on his computer and verified that yes, we had been awarded a grant. He said we would probably be notified this week. I'm really concerned about not having received an email before the store called us. I would hate to loose this money due to not responding to an email. When I read your response to the earlier poster on here I got even more concerned. Is there any way you can verify this for me? The school name is Summitville Elementary School, Summitville Indiana. I'd really appreciate any help you might be able to give. I'm ready to to the happy dance but want to make sure before I do!
