TB--first off stay calm...whatever you end up with--practice it a few times so that you're comfortable and then try to stay as upbeat and light as you can. Especially in front of the children cause you want them to get excited about it....Give me an idea on what you want to get across...is it "come join our walk a thon" "tell your parents about our walk a thon" , what cool stuff will you be doing--music? face painting during the event? prizes and then we can work up something for you...
goals for money raised--what your group has done for the kids to date...etc...
Please help!!!! I am not good at speaking in front of crowds but I have a elementary school fundraiser speech to give about our walk-a-thon. The speech has to be given in front of 500 PreK -4th grade students and faculty. I never know what to say. I need help!!!! If anyone has a sample speech or can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
