Thanks... we did receive some double point offers-- I wish Lakeside did the food points-- that would be great-- we have a group of ladies that go out-- this is would be a great one-- but they haven't offered that one... I offer the option to bring receipts to school and we'll return them-- I'm thinking about offering a deal for our up-coming mom2mom sale-- where if you bring in a 20.00 or more receipt, you can get in for free.

We participate in our local My School is Cool...and I am proud to say we have a very commanding lead. Other than encouraging parents to shop and turn in receipts, we stress the importance of Tasty Tuesdays (we get 200 points per food receipt regardless of dollar amount for every Tuesday food purchase), field trips (50 points per person) and the purchase of American Express gift cards (double points). We have a lot of parents who meet on Tuesdays to eat and chat....

I am not sure if your program is the same as ours...but just look at some of the extra ways to earn points. We also allow parents to send receipts in to the school and we will take them to be recorded and return them if needed.

Hope this helps....Good Luck.

We signed up to participate in a mall program where you purchase items and turn in your receipts for credit.
The Mall offered 10,000 to the winning school and another 10,000 to be split-- we thought great, we need the 10,000-- but it has been a lot harder than we thought to keep our numbers high enough to win.

I'm looking for ideas for our final push to try and win some of the big money--
We have been consistently in 2nd place-- and we DO have a chance to win the big POT and purchase new playground equipment, but we need a way to push parents now to shop and turn in their receipts---
I'll take any suggestions.

Thanks, Foxmom
