Although I'm not sure EXACTLY what a school committee is--we do have to have our principal approve and then she can take to the board of ed if there is anything that might cause controversy. Not exactly sure what we could see to do that except perhaps stuff that comes in brown wrappers but I'm sure there's stuff out there :).

Who is on the school committee? I am not sure how that works.

Hi
I am validating this information but I was recently told that the School Committee must approve "all" fundraisers conducted by the PTO. I've heard of the requirement for the principal to approve all fundraisers but had never heard of a requirement for School Committee approval up to this point. We are a public elementary school. Is this typical?
