Has anyone ever done a Faculty concert? We have a variety of musically talented teachers on staff and if we get five teachers to do 10 minutes of material, we would have a 1 hour concert.
I pitched the idea to the head of our music department, but I think her eyes glazed over..... with Marching Band in Summer/Fall, holiday concerts in Winter and the Musicals and year-end concerts in Spring - when would a good time be to do this?
Our parents would *love* this and the kids would naturally come out to support their musical teachers.
What or *how* could I say to the teachers that it would be a win/win in terms of public relations with the parents, as well as great PR for the school.
