We have a school store, open ten minutes before school each day and 15 minutes after. We sell mostly school supply noveltys although we also sell chips and candy bars in the afternoon. In the morning, we sell granola bars. We also sell wallets, spirit shirts, coloring books and crayons.
On Friday we have "Fun Friday" and sell some kind of toy for $1, after school only. It could be something like dinosaur eggs or those jiggly balls... something fun that will not come back to school on Monday.

No toys, just supplies that the kids can use in school. They love the novelty erasers and pens. We've also done exceptionally well selling composition books, sprial notebooks, file folders etc since many kids lose them & parents didn't have time to go out for replacement ones.

Our school store at lower elem. (K-3)is also like Pals, a behavior reward store. Our students earn "Blazer bucks" through making positive choices that go above what our character expectations are. Our itermediate school has items available to buy. Both carry all spirit items printed with our dragon and Blazer emblems. Pencils, erasers, folders, notebooks, water bottles, t-shirts and sweatshirts, and book bags are some of the items. The upper el store also carries picture frames, magnets, beads, pom poms, pens, and a few other items.

I am not sure that I am on the same level as you are, our store is positive behavior and thd kids earn to go there, we collect no money. We carry things like pencils, erasers, pens, folders, highlighters, hacky sacks, jumpropes, pencil toppers, sharpeners, crayons, key chains, stickers, pencil pouches, wire games, bookmarks, all that kind of stuff.
We order mostly from student supply, fun express, and new this year Max Cowens who is pretty local for us and their prices are good. We use to use Geddes but found their prices are a little high since we are not charging, although they have some really neat stuff! they carry licensed characters like curious george, dr seuss, etc. depends on what kind of price range you are aming for.

I have been assigned on getting the school store up and running again after is was closed the past few years. I am looking for items to put in. What do your school stores carry & where do you order from? Thanks
