Hi everyone - I'm a new president and just received my first email from an upset parent. I need some advice before I reply. Here is a short excerpt.

"This is to let you know how much I am offended by the fact that the P.T.O. sends home fundraisiers with children without the parent permission . I am not against fundraiser but, I am against forcing them on to our children."

She is also not a PTO member. I know that I shouldnt take it to heart. Any advice on what I should / can say without making it worse would be appreciated.
