Do you have any ideas of the kinds of programs and events you would like to have? If so, you could specifically ask for people interested in those projects.

I am starting new PTA and wondered how everyone else gets parents to become involved. My plan is to ask them to fill out a sheet when they sign up, where they tell me when they are available to help and what their special hobbies and talents are. I also do a Teacher Survey to find out what teachers needs and wants are. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful.
