I agree with LUV--
We held a spirit sale at middle school and kids we not interested in the school color spirit items--after all when you are in 8th grade you only need so many red and black school spirit shirts--but a pink shirt with the school name or something is differnt---we had luck with things for the grown ups too--key rings, car license covers, window clings, and the kids love the drawstring bags--great size for gym class or sports.

Just wanted to give a tip for those who are selling spirit wear: keep up with the trends! Keeping an eye on what kids are wearing and the trends in the stores just gave us a great boost to our spirit wear sales. The hot color is PINK! That's right, for girls AND boys. The big trend in spirit wear is colors other than the standard school colors. With this in mind we introduced pink spirit wear tees at our school last week. We sold $700 worth in 3 days!! That's over 1/3 of what our total sales have been for the entire school year so far!

Just something to think about!
