Just recently found out our PTO treasurer did not file the 990ez. Was told over and over that the form was filed but failed to bring a copy of the form to the past 2 meetings. Had all kinds of excuses-unbelievable. Finally the treasureer was confonted in a very ugly meeting and the person admitted that the form was never filed. It is a mess and not sure what we can do or where to go from here. Do we throw our selves on the mercy of the IRS???
Hard to believe a parent could cause so much tension and ill will to a school where their children attend.
