Hello, I am the current PTA president who has been asked many times why we have not became a PTO. I know that insurance is less and we then get to keep out membership dues. But I also heard that it's a hassle to change over and that we would need to go to a negative balance at the end of each school year.

So my question is, is there someone to call and talk to about changing. A lot of parents and teachers think our small PTA would benifit from this. Thanks!
