Ok I am really trying to figure ut what is better PTA or PTO. I am going to be the president of a PTA. But have been thinking of switching to PTO. I need some hard facts of why one is better then the other to print out and give to the parents at my meeting. My biggest point of changing is because I am loseing parents because the price of membership keeps going up. I was also told that I can not buy anything for the classrooms being a PTA. I have not read this just was told by the last president. I have gone to PTA's web site but can not seem to find any info. Please help !!!
