I was at my local Starbucks yesterday (love Starbucks!) and there were bookmarks on all of the tables about Read for the Record - www.readfortherecord.org
It sounds like an interesting program. My single most favorite thing is books. I started reading to my son while he was still in the womb and to this day he's still an avid reader. I signed both of us up as participants as well as donated books to the program.
The official Read for the Record day is August 24. Maybe it would be a good back-to-school family night? Just thought you all might be interested in this....
