i know our school distict does things for the poor and does not advertise it due to confidentiality. who wants to embarass the poor?

i would guess your head of food svc, if you are at a public school and one that runs a national school lunch program, has a background in nutrition or related field. just a guess.

why dont they advertise it/let the public know? seems would be good PR and no conflict of interest or anything inherent in such gestures.
