valentines

That is a good idea! I've seen this done at school for a relay for life team. Maybe we can do this with Easter eggs or something. Our funds are fairly low and every event we do we are not going to make much money on because we are new and we have to purchase so much.

We are going to do lolligrams. I think we are going to have the forms pre-made, let the kids fill them out, and just stick the suckers through the little forms for delivery. That is still some work there but probably not as hard as the flowers. Do you have a group of students (a club or after school students) that can help you out? Older kids love to do that kind of thing.

You know when you go to a store & they ask if you want to donate $1 to such & such org. & then you put your name on a tag. Maybe sell hearts for $1.00 & donate the $$ to your local humane society, food pantry...... Good luck!

This is my first time using the message board, but we are stuck!!!!! Last year we sold carnations for Valentines Day and the kids bought them for $1 and wrote a message on a tag and turned them in. WE had to cut the tags, punch a hole in them and tie a riboon on and attach it to the flower. It was ALOT of work because we had 700 flowers and we sold all of them!! Is their any other ideas out there on an easier thing to do or an easier way of doing this? We can't get ALOT of parents to commite to help out, so it is usually just us 4 PTO members. THANK YOU FOR YOUR IMPUT!!!
