just a question

I just have a question. Has anyone ever run into this situation? What did you do?

I have kids in 2 dif. schools. Meaning, I am on 2 dif. PTO's. The year prior all meetings are set so that the meetings are not held on the same day or don't get held when the school already has something going on.

The other day, was one of the meetings. the following week was supposed to be the other school's meeting. I open my email this week and the day before the 1st school's meeting, one of the board members emails me to tell me they have decided to move the meeting to the same night, and time! Both meetings were important for their own reasons. I had a presentation to do for the first. I am angry. I am one of the very few members that goes to the second school's meetings. I understand I cannot be involved in all (or any decisions). But the meeting was moved without even checking the calendar. (all meetings are on the calendar) Shouldn't a dedicated member and very involved parent get at least the courtisey (sorry can't spell) of a calendar check? I am not the only parent that was upset about the move. The move was board member "selfish" for the best word I can think of. Everyone, including the speakers had to rearrange their schedules, so I supose the move was planned way before the day before they were moving the meeting?

Sorry for the long "topic" I apparently was more upset than I thought.

Frustrated hiding member (for now)
