Last year, my friend and I put our scrapbooking talents to use and did the the two main bulletin boards in the front hall. All a bulletin board is is one BIG scrapbook layout!!!! I wish I could post a pic so you caould see how cute they turned out. Good luck with whatever you do...

The Mailbox usually has good ideas. I think you have to register for their website or order something, but the librarian at the elementary keeps back issues.

I used Yahoo! to search "bulletin board ideas" and many things came up.

One thing I want to know as new parent, well even now with all the cut backs and staff changes, is who is working in the building with my kids. You could do "Welcome to 'Our School'" and have the teachers and staff names on clouds or somehting like that, perhaps even their grade or room numbers on them and have your mascot in the middle of that. It doesn't take but a minute to print out words on computer paper and mount them to construction paper. I've seen bulletin boards were people wrote on them with pens or markers, that doesn't look very attractive.

Hey Everyone! I do 3 bulletin boards at our school and really need some new ideas. We always do a "Welcome" board and I do the PTO board and need a catchy idea. On one side we leave space to post info about PTO stuff and the rest is for decoration. Any ideas?
