I noticed that School Family Events and Playgrounds, etc., and PTO vs. PTA had few topics could a couple of those serve under day to day management?

Yeah, for the most part the PTO vs PTA section gets very little traffic except for maybe a couple months out of the year. The posts it has been getting lately have to do with PTO issues. Realistically, replacing it with social is a good idea since social gets a lot more traffic.
(you haven't completely trashed page two have you? That would be so sad...)

My vote is to keep the social section also. Especially page 2!

Besides Tim, once football starts how are we going to talk 'bout them Patriots? I ASSUME you ARE a NE Patriot fan? Not many fans in CA that I can "gloat" with.

Or since PTO Today has a family fun night program it could be combined with the conferences and your new software topic under something like PTO Today Specialties. Ok, I am sure you could give it a better name but you get my point.

I really like the idea of a social place that we can visit and kick back and relax. It's a great way of really getting to know one another.

Please bring it back! I realize that your space is limited, but combining some of the topics would work great.

Well I thought the social section was back because on active topics it was still there. There's still another one from social on todays active topics but the section is still gone.
I emphasize again that it's needed.
