Nomination Decision

Hi! I think if you want to do it, then you should do it and not worry about what some might say.

Because you have experience I do not think it matters that your child did not previously attend the school. You will in fact have a child attending there while you are in this position.

If people care so much about who should and should not have the job then they should take the job. I have very little sympathy for people who complain but would never do the job.
GOOD LUCK!

I've been approached by a mother from our Intermediate Center about accepting the nomination for pres for the next school year. This has been the first year that the school has been in operation and they do not have any by laws in place yet. My child will be attending next year, he is very nervous about the move. My main concern with accepting the nomination is that some people would be upset that I didn't already have a child enrolled. I've heard meeting turnouts are poor. Two different elementary schools make up this school. I have no idea how things work at the school but I am a quick learner when it comes to that. I also have alot of experience and with help I think I could make it work. The elections are set for May 17. What do you guys think?
