Parent Involvement in H.S. PTO

I have attended a local high school monthly parent meeting for the last few months. They have about 10 parents that show up. The parents organized a Casino night, Prom Pledge event, and pregraduation celebration. These parents have been able to talk to other parents and spread the word about needing volunteers and help with planning these events. If you have even a couple of parents, start with them and ask students you know if they could get their parents involved. If you have money to do so try to send home a survey or flyer possibly have something in the school's newsletter.

I need suggestions on how to get parents involved at the H.S. level. Anyone have an active PTO at the H.S. level? What are you doing that works? Do you have a rep from all the booster clubs/groups? Do you have reps from the Student
Council on the PTO? What type of projects have you worked on? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
