Cake, ice cream, invites to the parents and grandparents etc.

Can each class be ready to sing something for him? A special prayer from the older students? OMGh December!! A gift certificate to a favorite resturant or golf etc. A nice plaque in appreciation from the school....a tree of cards/pictures from the children?

I'm really stretching the memory on what we did when Mrg. retired....he wasn't as well loved though

Does anyone have any creative ideas for a going away party for a favorite parish Priest that is being transferred...saddly!! The Principal of our school wants EVERYONE involved and wants it to be a surpise, A BIG Event. Here is the kicker, he wants to be the beginning of December sometime!! Please if anyone has any creative fun ideas, I am all ears!! Thanks
