Hmmm--What's Your Take on THIS one?

Kma, the number of people on this Principals sh*t list is growing fast.I would have no problem rounding up a few mothers. Even though I know I can take her down by myself(with just a little help from the school board!)

With all the wonderful things she and her evil side kick have done, let's just hope that they don't get tenured. By the way my a** is still hurting from the major screwing I got from them!Thank God I only have 1 kid in that school!

I guess I would have caught up with a Room Mom for her and asked her to hand out the hand outs! or...done it myself!

oh yeah, reply to the note "Then I assume you will NOT be joining us the next time we offer a free lunch for you and the staff ;) !"

Some have NO IDEA.....maybe colleges should offer a class "How to work with your parent volunteers" ....oooo hey Tim...seminar idea??? ;)

The other groups generally don't have a problem with her, but then again the other groups generally "hear and obey." She also has this really big bug up her ass about us because we're separate, and while she has SOME control over our activities in the school, other than that there's not a whole Hell of a lot else she can say. Not that we're this group of separatists who are seceding and looking to perform a coup d'tat, but, we don't need her help or guidance either, and given her track record and performance I wouldn't probably give much weight to it anyway.

The thing is we're not the official PTO--we have a PTA (which for the most part could be a LOT better, and is under the thumb of very controlling regional and state chapter policies). We're currently "The Playground Group," after that we want to do so much more! But this...woman has made it very clear we won't be welcome after our job is done. Any time the topic comes up she just REFUSES to discuss it, and says now is not the time to discuss it.

The whole situation is so depressing. What's worse is we have so many people who agree with us, but they're either too lazy or too scared to write to the super and BOE. So basically it's just a few of us yapping, rather than a unified voice.

At this point I just try to take it a day at a time, with the goal of each day being not using those four muscles MichelleB talked about! :D

Kmamom...Uugghh! If its not the principal it is the teachers! These people don't deserve anything from you!

I am glad to hear the chair stuck the folder back in her mailbox. Let's see if she has the nerve to give it back again.

If she does I would go speak to her as nicely as humanly possible and ask her what the problem is.
If she chooses to whine about the things she needs to hand out. I would tell her as nicely as humanly possible that while you understand it may be an annoyance to her that it is a neccesity in order to provide the things needed for the school.
That you have permission from the school to do this and all the classes need to participate.

If she still refuses to hand them out then tell her that since she is soooo busy that you will eliviate the stress of it all by coming to her class at the end of the day and handing them out for her.

Once again your problem in all of this is that it starts at the top. Your principal is a numpty who allows all of this crap to go on in the school instead of putting her foot down.

Does the other group in your school have the same problems or does everyone just go along with their program?
