I don't think there is an official one, just Grandparents Day. I always thought Hallmark had just created that day as another way to sell greeting cards, but the origin is explained here: pressroom.hallmark.com/grandparents_day.html
It doesn't say anything about a whole week.
Some schools around here have done a week on their own, but the dates are all different--depends on what they are doing.
