I believe they have been distributed during registration. I haven't paid much attention because I have usually been involved in developing it with the school district and I guess I get an advance copy. I do know that it is done for next year by December of the following year.
We normally get ours in Feb. of every year. This year (because of upcoming construction) we got it for the next two years. Which is great for me so I can book my vacations for the next two years!
we get our district calendar with all the days off etc. in May, we then get our own school calendar with all events on it in september with our handbook.
