To set the scene, today it it 59 and raining with bits of snow and the first graders have a trip to the zoo planned. Here is the e-mail I recieved last night from my son's teacher (I've know her for several years)

In sun or not, we like it a lot!

The sun might come out tomorrow,

there'll be rain.

YOU'RE ONLY AN EVENING AWAY!

It's raining, it's pouring,
the zoo sure is boring!
I'd rather be in Wykiki
Sipping on a Jubilee
And listening to my grandson's glee!

I'm giving it up and going home!
