PTO looking for grading software

20 years 5 months ago #70494 by JHB
People here are always willing to share info, but I think your best source is going to be from teachers and principals. Your school faculty should be plugged into associations and websites (like this one for parent groups), so I'd encourage you to have them explore options as well.

Meanwhile, here are a few links, (some of them rather old).

Comparison Artical (2000)

At a Teacher Education Program at Tarlton University, there's an assignment where the participant's compare two gradebook programs. I don't know the details or how in depth they go, but maybe the instructors would share the results with you. www.tarleton.edu/~edulab/index.htm

We use a product called Power School and the teachers seem to like it very much.

Hi Everyone,
I did not know where to post this ~ our school is in a really bad need for new grading software and they have asked the PTO to help purchase it. Does anyone have suggestions on what their schools use? Or just any suggestions at all.

Thanks in advance for anything.
