You can just go to yahoo and type "catholic schools week". Was able to peek into some other school's websites to see what they're doing. Got some good ideas that way.

We have a free family breakfast on that Wednesday. Cafeteria ladies make cinnamon rolls and biscuits and we supply fruit, coffee, juice and milk.

Last year each child created a picture of their family which was hung in the cafeteria.

Parents go to school and take the tests! Eeeek - what if we fail! Actually, I think it's a great idea. Anyway, last year our school formed a Grandparents Association. IF you have one, then maybe you could have the grandparents watch the children in the Gym, or if you have a hall. I would think a half a day, max...

We basically do the same types of things that you do for CSW. We have basketball shootoff, maybe a game day. The kids always look forward, but new ideas are always great.

Our teachers actually plan Catholic Schools week, but we usually start Sunday with mass which the children participate in, immediately followed by Open House and our Scholastic Book Fair kick-off (we get a lot of parishioners buying books then). Each day we have a theme, pajama day, hawaiian day, backwards day, teacher pie-in the face contest (proceeds go to make-a-wish), etc. We also want to try to get the teacher/principals to agree to a parent/child switch day wherein the parents go to school in their child's place. The parents will have to do the homework, take the tests, etc. Haven't worked out what to do with the kids yet, have any suggestions?
