The school because a corporation three years ago so they would qualify for business loans and never have to rely on the school district for funding on this sort of issues.

As many compaints as we are recieving I'm learning to have selective hearing ;)

Since when does it rain in Texas? ;) We just get feet of snow (by the way if it does snow that only sets us back more!).

Parking garage? I am sooooooooo jealous. Can't tell you how many times I've walked 3-4 blocks in the rain to volunteer! You guys obviously raise more money than we do, what's your secret?

This summer I asked for ideas etc, concerning our construction that is happening at our school. Well I wanted to follow-up with ya'll, the Transportation Dept. was able to work out with a near by company use of their parking lot. In the morning and afternoon we are able to drop off and pick up our kids from the shuttle severice the school set up. We still have A LOT of parents that won't use this option but when they compain to the school's admin they suggest the shuttle and not much more is said (they still refuse). There are a few that car pool and we operate 10 full buses. Many just can't bear the thought of not being able to see their child walk into the school, anyway, slowly we are getting there!

Our three story parking garage will be done before Christmas (Merry Christmas!!) so that will add more parking....as long as the construction crew doesn't decide to block that area off to finish our new gym and auditorm....

I was able to joke with one Mom that the PTO arranged for the "Big Truck Day" and we both laughed! It was the day we had six semi trucks come in to deliver the crane that they would build on site.

If we never do this again it will be too soon!
