I would like to thank all my FRIENDS on this forum. I came into presidency this year, of our school PTO with a note book piece of paper and was told "this is what we do" and you need to get us legal. There was not one piece of info on how to run any event. I came online and found ALL my answers. You were all so willing to share and you made our school important. We had more help on Field Day than we have had in Years. I hit many, many road blocks, and opposition. I even quit once and you helped me back on the horse. Tonight the teachers honored our group with certificates, the most incredible Thank yous, an awesome dessert and coffee buffet, flowers and a banner for our Honorable Mention in PTO TODAY. It was an awesome night that I will always remember. Our teachers really care and they saw that in us. I received so many ideas from this forum, I thought you should know how much your words really do help others. So keep on typing and sharing maybe we can help others who face the challenges I have faced this year. My one word of wisdom is to remember to have respect for everyone even when they don't have repect for you. YOU will shine through if you hold you head high, remember what's important(THE KIDS) and do the best you can. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! Have a great summer.
