My pre-kid company used to have a field day for their employees. The best and funniest race was to put your forhead on a baseball bat, other side of bat to the ground and then spin around like that 3x. Then run from point A to point B and tag next in line. It was a riot to see senior management running all dizzy and silly. (The alcohol may have helped also) but.... I'm sure if you put some teachers on teams it would have the same effect.

We have a "fun day" at our school in which the kids do relay races, water balloon toss, tug of war (with a sprinkler in the middle), face painting, and end the day with a pop sickle. We also have an obstacle course. Another idea might be a treasure hunt.

Hello I am new to this site and forum. I am the treasurer of a small private Jr. high on the island of Cozumel in the Mexican Caribbean. Here it is tradition to celebrate children's day ( april 30 for kinder and primary 1-6) and student's day ( jr.high 7-9,May 17).Our treasury is VERY low on funds, and we are trying to organize a day for our 30 jr.high students that will not be to costly.Any ideas for either inexpensive crafts, games, events, beach day games, etc are most welcome and greatly appreciated. Thank you for having this very informative site and for your suggestions. Kathy please email me at This email address is being protected from spambots.
