I did a search on this site and came up with two good threads. Another short thread (not listed here) mentioned that they had a "pickle walk". A sour version of the traditional "Cake walk" but instead they gave away pickles! what a hoot!
I have taken on the task of organizing our PTA sponsored Harvest Festival for our elementary school for this Oct. I have never organized anything before and would like some advice. Our academic theme is going to be "pioneer history" This is mostly just a festival for the kids and not necessarily a fundraiser. I have gotten some great ideas off the internet for pioneer games and activities, but I could use some advice form those who have "been there done that." I talked the PTA president into letting us have a few fundraiser activities (raffles, etc.)
