hahaha so I'm not alone. Had to laugh about the pb&j comment.
I'm lucky to be the Boxtops coordinator at our school and started chatting with the other coordinators on the Boxtops site. We tended to get off topic so much that one mom started another forum for all that off topic ( and necessary for sanity)chat. It's on www.ezboard.com They are very user friendly when it comes to getting set up and maintaining the board. It isn't free though. But, the users can support the costs by nominal contributions. It might be something you'd like to look into. The part I like the best is that it is a private chat room--you need an invitation to be granted access so you don't have the problem that so many public boards have--people who are only interested in disrupting comverstions and causing problems, so it is a very safe environment.
I echo the thought of emailing another poster who has comments here and you'd like more chat.

Thanks mykidsmom. I don't feel like such a bad mom knowing I am not the only one! I try to wait until my kids go to bed but sometimes, I breakdown and I have to come to this site!

Yes--I've actually looked for chat room too and found nothing. If I can figure out how to create one, I'll let you know. I'm a little scared though --- I'm already on here SO much. LOL.

If you can't find a chat room, a lot of the posters on here put their e-mails up and if you're on a post where you want to dicuss something further with someone who seems to have a common problem or idea, you could probably e-mail them directly. I have chatted back and forth with a couple folks on some issues. This is such a PUBLIC forum. Sometimes e-mailing back and forth with just one person might help vent or work out an issue a little better because it's not shared with the world.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Are there any PTO/PTA chat rooms that parents can go to? If so how do I get to it? I normally don't go to chat rooms but I think it would be nice to go somewhere to chat with other parents with the same interests.
