We are put on the agenda as well. Since we are first on the program, we just make it a welcome, congratulate the 5th graders and then invite the attendees to the PTO sponsored reception following the promotion ceremony. Short and sweet.
I was just wondering if any PTO Presidents are asked to speak at their 5th grade graduation. If so, what do you say? Do you have a canned speech that gets read every year or do you make up something new every year?
