Need help soliciting community involvement

Been there and did that. A few years ago I helped start a PTO at my son's newly formed preschool. We were unfortunate not to know about the great resources of PTO Today. I started off by going to the meetings of other schools parent groups in the district. I got their support, and one of the presidents patiently answered all of my million and one questions. As for the letter, I came up with about three didn't forms and the board decided which was the best one for us to use. I also made in-kinds like the one another school used (with their permission).

Hang in there work as a team and be patient, it will all work out. Best of luck!

Just started a new group. I have no resources. Does anybody have copies of a letter to businesses asking for involvment and donations.
Also a list of places who donate regularly.
