Personally, I prefer to deal with local businesses when possible and keep the dollars working in the community, especially since WE so often ask the business community to support the schools.
Our PTO is currently researching prizes for our big fall fundraiser. Last year we were able to get waterbottles with our school logo for $0.69 each as our "goal level" prize.
