gifts for chairmen/principal/assistant principal

Hey Maggie,
How many people are you talking about? Do you want to do something like a lunch or afternoon tea or just a simple gift? What's hard is everythign I can think of off the top of my head you either have to order 50 or more or would take too long to order. Do you have a trophy shop close by? They might have some ideas. Last year we gave our Principal an engraved gold apple, I can't remember the cost but she really liked it. This year for the open house for the new school we gave her a potted plant which I have learned it will grow to 5 feet or so! OOPPS! She still loves it!
Hey the Menzy Mom mentioned she does a planter of assorted flowers in a different topic....that would be nice and inexpensive to do. Especially if you can get a landscaping place to donate or discount the plants!
Let me know what you decide....I think I may do a planter for my VP as she has been my right, left, and somedays (well as soon as this baby gets here!) my third hand! ;) :D

Hi guys, last year the principal and assistant principal got gift certs. (and if you were in favour with the pres/ vp and a chairperson you got something as well). I would like to recognise all my chairpeople and the principal/v. principal, but I don't want to go overboard. Any suggestions? thanks, maggie
